Successfully founded and grew Sweden’s leading expat community to be the biggest expat site for Swedes abroad, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals moving to the UK.
Event Management - Planned and executed live events for ex-pats and anyone interested in Swedish culture, including everything from networking sessions and cultural exchange events to our bigger events like our annual Midsommar, Crayfish festivals, and Lucia Concert, bringing over 3000 guests together annually and over 30 000 guests on our events over the years.
Networking and Collaborations - Cultivated partnerships with local and global businesses,organisations and communities for over 10 years with a strong track record of successful partnerships.
LondonSwedes.com is the largest community for the Swedish and Scandinavian communities in London and the UK. Over 50,000 members have joined, and the website currently has over 25,000 unique monthly visitors. LondonSwedes has been recognised by both individuals and media outlets throughout Sweden as a must-visit forum.

EVENT MANAGEMENT
For over 12 years I have run and organized events and conferences, being the leading force from from idea through to execution. We have planned and executed events for companies such as Ocado, Twingly, Nordic Spirit and the annual events for LondonSwedes. Alongside this, we have several private high-profile clients.
Conceptualizing and Planning Events: Leading the creative development and planning of events, including festivals & performances, while ensuring alignment with the business's promotion goals and target audience.
Event Management: Overseeing the logistical and operational aspects of events, including venue selection, budget management, vendor coordination, sponsorship and facilities management to ensure successful execution.
Promotion and Outreach: Developing marketing strategies and partnerships to promote cultural events and engaging with local communities, media, and cultural organizations to enhance event visibility and attendance.
Private Events: Planned and executed exclusive events for high-profile clients in exclusive locations, ensuring meticulous attention to detail, personalized service, and seamless coordination to deliver unique and memorable experiences

Our community has grown by our active forums, our annual events and dedicated members. I believe that my proactivity, skills in communication, relationship management and dedication to the company have enabled me to build this extensive network including many lasting personal relationships.

My leadership skills have been achieved through building a well known community for over a decade, my qualities include strong communication skills, the ability to inspire and motivate others, and a commitment to fostering inclusivity and collaboration.
HOSTESS & PRESENTER
During my role as an event manager, I handle end-to-end event logistics, coordination, and execution. Additionally, I serve as a community hostess and presenter, engaging and entertaining guests while ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
MARKETING, SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
In order to build my business to where it is today, I have put in a great deal of time and effort into proactively growing the community.
As the founder of LondonSwedes, my tasks have included developing and executing marketing campaigns, generating leads, and closing sales. Additionally, I have managed customer inquiries, provided product and service information, and resolved customer issues to ensure a positive experience.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
In project management, my tasks have included defining project scope, developing timelines, coordinating team efforts, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely and successful project completion. Additionally, I have managed project resources, budget, and stakeholder communication to meet project objectives.
WEBSITE MANAGEMENT AND SOCIAL MEDIA
I have managed sites in Wordpress for over 12 years, working with content development, strategy, analytics and SEO every month.
I have a proven ability to grow and maintain social media presence and popularity. I have experience working with Instagram, Facebook and its forums, using engaging content to grow popularity and gain active followers.
SPONSORSHIP AND CLIENT RELATIONS
Building relationships with our partners and sponsors is another of my passions and is one of my key strengths.
I have successfully secured sponsorships for the website and our events, cultivating positive client relationships.
Our strong partnerships have been crucial for our events, providing financial support as well as enhancing our events with valuable resources and expertise. These sponsorships have been instrumental in elevating the quality and success of our events.

The largest community for Swedish ex-pats and people interested in Swedish culture
I founded LondonSwedes.com in 2011 after an interest in Swedish traditions and culture in the capital. Today, LondonSwedes is the largest website and community for the Swedish and Scandinavian communities in London and the UK. Since 2003, over 50 000 members/followers have joined and the website currently has over 25 000 unique monthly visitors. LondonSwedes has been recognised by both individuals and media outlets throughout Sweden as a must-visit forum. In addition to the forum, our user-friendly website offers handy information, personal blogs and event listings. I've also hosted annual Midsummer parties, Crayfish parties, Christmas events and Lucia Nights.
Apart from the annual events we have organised after works, network events, football events, tournaments and movie nights.
In 2018 we opened The Moose Loft, a co-working collective of creatives that shared office space but also skills.
The objective of LondonSwedes is to be the premier resource for Swedes and Scandinavians coming to the UK, either as tourists, students, or working professionals.
LondonSwedes is recognised as an authority at London life, having forged relationships with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, The Swedish Embassy and The Swedish Church in London.
Approximately 100 000 Swedes live in London and the UK,
with about 500 000 Swedish tourists visiting the UK capital annually.

THE MOOSE LOFT
2018
We launched a small co-working loft to be shared by a bunch of creatives. It consisted of a mix of professionals selected from different industries to join as one entity, a collective of Moose members. With the size and capabilities of our online community, we were aiming to navigate our selected members to new opportunities that will allow their businesses to prosper and grow. One main objective at LondonSwedes is to recognise and promote talented Swedes, and through The Moose Loft, we were doing just so!
MIDSUMMER BRUNCHES AND DINNERS
2019 - 2023
We have hosted over 450 guests each year to beautiful and exclusive lunches and dinners at different unique and amazing London venues such as Ours, Kupp and. High-quality food and ingredients was picked for the lunch that consisted of a three course meal with live music, raffle games and surprises. In the evening 400 guests joined for an evening party with breathtaking views.
LONDONSWEDES LUCIA NIGHTS
2016 - 2023
Since 2016, we have hosted sold-out Lucia Nights in London with some of Sweden's biggest artists as our special guests. Singers such as Miriam Bryant, Måns Zelmerlöf, Molly Hammar and Cornelia Jakobs have been on stage with our 40-man-strong choir, making this event one of the most popular events in the Swedish calendar. Venues such as Asylum Chapel, Lyric Theatre, Stoke Newington Town Hall and Harrow School have been filled with thousands of families and guests enjoying this lovely Swedish Christmas tradition.
LONDONSWEDES' CRAYFISH FESTIVAL
2012-2023
The Crayfish season that runs from August to September each year is a time when many Swedes host a so-called Crayfish party. Our Crayfish parties started in 2012 with 150 guests at Dalston Roofpark and have since then expanded. From 2016 we hosted an annual several-day-long festival called LondonSwedes Crayfish festival with thousands of guests over the years. These events sell out within a few days and have received press in some of UKs biggest newspapers and blogs.
LONDONSWEDES CHOIR
The LondonSwedes Choir is a Swedish choir based in London, England. It was founded in 2016 by Michaela Lundin and Charlotte Agren and is made up of Swedish professionals and students living in London. The choir performs a range of Swedish and international vocal music, including traditional Swedish folk songs, popular Swedish pop songs, and classical choral pieces. They have performed at various venues across London, including the Southbank Centre and the Swedish Church in Marylebone. The Londonswedes choir also collaborates with other choirs and musicians to create unique and diverse performances.
